Yesterday, we discussed the duties of a flower girl. She has some major duties to be performed in the wedding. It, indeed, is not an every kid’s cup of tea. To make sure your kid does not get intimidated or fed up of any proceedings of the wedding, here’s what you need to do:

  • Choose your little girl’s dress and accessories at least a week before and make her wear those and walk. This will make sure she is comfortable in those which will boost her confidence.
  • A day before, you can create a demo wedding procession, perhaps at home only, so that the flower girl can have practical knowledge of her duties, as well. This must be especially done if it is her first time as a flower girl.
  • Explain the duties to your little girl again and again and let her know how important her role is in this wedding.
  • Involve the flower girl in all the events preceding the wedding so that she becomes comfortable with everyone involved and feels confident during the main event.
  • Both the parents must sit in the front row where the flower girl can easily approach them, if needed and they can support her easily.
  • Also, tell her that there is going to be a long procession of photographs and that she must cooperate with a smile on her face.
